-Female victim.
-Action taking place at night in an eery location.
Conventions Developed:
-Victim/Killer is mentally unstable.
-Element of mystery.
-The end of the film as the start.
Conventions Challenged:
-Female as the Killer as opposed to a male killer.
-Male as the Victim as opposed to it being a female.-Protagonist is also antagonist.
